I tried to switch between Avant-Garde and more traditional summer tunes and I think that it worked pretty effectively. There were a few tunes that did not make the cut that probably should have, but for some reason they just did not work within the flow of the greater mix. (Kokomo is a prefect example.) But as of now, I have used two seperate bands on each of the 3 mixes: Be Your Own Pet and Spice Girls. Perhaps I need to branch out, or maybe I should just really work to keep that streak alive. Especially with the Spice Girls.
